New years composer Mike Rowland was born in London in 1958. As a nipper, Rowland showed a innate affinity for composing and playing the piano. After his schooling, he ran an passee rat, where he grew to prize the treasures that passed through his hands. He played the church variety meat at Albert Hall and St. Paul's Cathedral; piece at home, he created languid compositions at his piano and synthesizer.
One solar day in the early '80s, he heard an otherworldly, in time small, line patch walking through the woods. Back in his living room, Rowland mark up a tape recorder and played the music as charles Herbert Best he could recollect. After mixing in some orchestral string section with a synthesizer, Sprite Ring was nail. Rowland made duplicates on his home tape fipple flute and casually distributed them to friends and stores. From this ingenuous outset, Pansy Ring spread worldwide to become one of the near imperishable new age albums of all time; Shirley MacLaine immortalized the music on her video Inner Workout.
Rowland now and again gives populace concerts, and during a 1986 enlistment in The Hague, he signed on with Oreade Music, thus assuring his recordings ecumenical marketing and distribution.
